Rushi Mehta is graduating with a BFA in Digital Painting Expanded Animation. He is a Toronto based Graphic Designer and Digital Artist. As an immigrant, he is an amalgamation of Hindu and Western Culture, which has taught him the importance of keeping in touch with his own culture while embracing new ones. From a very young age he had an inclination towards art, design and video games. As an introvert individual he would often get immersed into the worlds of video games. He started his career in Graphic Design for 7 years. His work as a Graphic Designer mainly comprised of brand identity, product photography, packaging etc. Taking Inspiration from the work of Ralph McQuarrie, he felt a need to peruse and refine his skills in fine arts. Because of his interest in gaming and world immersion, his work focuses on world building and concept art. His work is heavily influenced by deep-seated cultural roots and the contemporary media, which shows his way of finding a balance between the two.
